I was recently asked by a a good friend, Patty Knowles, to create a large scale, original piece of abstract art for her dining room wall. Patty and her husband, Greg, recently built a beautiful custom, contemporary home here in Bend, Oregon. I visited Patty's beautiful, light-filled home and measured the walls, took notes on her favorite colors and found a way to combine the style of my work with the other art and finishes in her home. The end result was perfect. It fit the space beautifully and complimented the rest of her art collection. The final painting measured 6 feet high by 8 feet wide. Both the client and the artist, myself, were happy with the final product. I loved working on a large scale again and intend to continue working on some large, abstract pieces this summer. Thank you Patty and Greg.
